Biography

Divya Dev is a talented theatre and film actor hailing from Kathmandu, Nepal. He began his acting career in 2010 with One World Theatre in the production of "Angels in America". Since then, he has taken on lead roles in over 25 plays, both in English and Nepali, including productions such as "True West" (2019), "Same Time Next Year" (2018), "Golden Boy" (2017), "Hamlet" (2016), "Anna in the Tropics" (2016), "Look Back in Anger" (2015), and "Sandaju ko Mahabharat" (2015).

In addition to his stage work, Divya has also made a name for himself in the film industry. He has starred in leading roles in the films "Rudane", "Chiso Ashtray", and "Hijo Aaja Kaa Kura", as well as supporting roles in "Looking For A Lady With Fangs And Mustache (Dakini)" and "Kiya". He has also appeared in more than three dozen short films, music videos, and TV commercials, and is known for his voice-over work in documentaries and TVCs.

Divya is also an experienced educator, having taught drama in various schools and conducted workshops for actors in films. He has also been involved in productions as a producer and casting director, further showcasing his versatility and dedication to the industry.
