Sujit Bidari

Biography

Sujit Bidari is a film graduate from Hetauda, Nepal, specializing in screenwriting and film directing. His diploma film, Savitri (2013), has traveled to various film festivals around the world and won several awards. In addition to writing screenplays for several films, he has also worked as a script consultant and analyst on various feature films and shorts, including The Black Hen (2015), which won the FEDEORA Best Film Award at the Venice Critics Week. Bidari's work often focuses on the psychology of women, as demonstrated in his short film Savitri and his debut feature, Butterfly on the Windowpane (2020). In addition to his work in film, he is also a creative director and lecturer at Everest Film Academy, as well as a part-time lecturer at Oscar International College's College of Film Studies. Bidari is also the owner of his own film company, Arko Film.
